Served as the primary engineer for a production nurse-patient assignment platform, owning end-to-end feature delivery across React/TypeScript, FastAPI, and GCP services.
Cut nurse-patient assignment solve time from 5 minutes to 30 seconds (90% reduction) through Pyomo solver tuning, graph-based feasibility checks, and problem decomposition.
Built and deployed three Dockerized services for the web application, data preparation, and optimization on GCP Cloud Run across staging and production environments.
Cut Firestore operations by 60% through client-side caching and request deduplication for hospital-unit synchronization.
Expanded automated test coverage across the codebase from 0% to over 70%.

Independently designed, built, and released a desktop app that turns reading goals, available time, and book backlogs into adaptive daily schedules, with Open Library integration.
Engineered a Rust scheduler which can generate 10 years of daily reading plans for 1,600 books in under 300 ms in stress testing, with dynamic replanning and feasibility checks.
Implemented archive import/export and legacy SQLite/JSON recovery, coordinating autosaves with imports and desktop updates to avoid competing writes.

Executable Discovery CLI · Rust

Built a Rust executable-discovery CLI with approximately 13% lower mean execution time than Unix which across 3,000 timed runs per command.
Added configurable typo-tolerant command suggestions using Jaro-Winkler and weighted Levenshtein scoring.
